These Terms & Services explain how eSmartTour (“we”, “us”) offers home improvement information on esmarttour.com and how planning, consultation, and renovation services are described, requested, and delivered. By using this website or submitting a form, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site and do not send personal details through our forms.
eSmartTour is a home improvement practice. We plan and, when separately agreed in writing, carry out kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovation, flooring, interior painting, exterior refresh work, custom carpentry, and coordinated whole-home improvements. These terms cover (a) your use of this static website, (b) messages and appointment requests you send through client-side forms, (c) newsletter subscription and unsubscribe requests, and (d) the general rules that govern any later written proposal or work order. A proposal, estimate, or work order signed or clearly accepted by you becomes a separate contract that may add project-specific details. If that document and these terms conflict, the later written project document controls for that project only.
Pages on this site are educational and promotional. Articles about paint sheens, sequencing, or storage are general guidance. They are not a substitute for a survey of your rooms, structure, moisture conditions, or local building rules. Photographs show completed or representative home improvement work and natural living spaces. Colors, lighting, and camera lenses can make a finish look different from the product in your hand. We do not warrant that every idea on the site will suit every house.
You may use the site if you can form a binding agreement and are requesting information about improving a home you own, rent with permission, or represent with authority. You agree not to misuse forms, attempt to overload the site, scrape content for competing commercial reuse without permission, or submit unlawful, harassing, or misleading information. You may share public pages using the social sharing links in the header and footer. You may not copy substantial text, photographs, or the eSmartTour logo for a competing renovation brand.
Contact, appointment, subscribe, and unsubscribe forms run in your browser. They validate required fields and, when complete, show the message: “Thank You! one of our representative will contact you.” This website does not store submissions on a server as part of the static pages. If you choose to email us separately at hello@esmarttour.com, ordinary email systems will carry that message. Do not send payment card numbers, government identifiers, or unnecessary household security codes through any form or email.
Submitting a preferred date and time asks us to review availability. A consultation is confirmed only when we reply by email and you accept that reply. We may suggest another window if the requested slot is full or if the rooms you describe need a longer visit. You are responsible for making sure someone with decision-making authority can discuss the project during the confirmed window.
Prices shown on the Pricing page are planning retainers, not construction totals. A kitchen or bathroom renovation can vary widely depending on structure, waterproofing, electrical capacity, fixture grades, and whether you stay in the house during the work. After planning, we may issue an estimate. Estimates are opinions of probable cost based on visible conditions and the selections then known. Hidden conditions—wet substrate, out-of-level floors, obsolete wiring, or undocumented changes by earlier work—can change the price and calendar. When that happens we will describe options before proceeding beyond the original scope.
Unless a written work order says otherwise, services may include measuring, photographing (with your consent), preparing selection boards, coordinating trades, protecting adjacent rooms, demolition of agreed surfaces, installation of agreed products, finishing, and a walkthrough. Services do not automatically include structural engineering, pest treatment, landscape design, or moving your furniture to storage unless listed. You remain responsible for telling us about shared walls, rental rules, building management procedures, and any restriction on working hours that applies to your home.
You agree to provide reasonable access to the rooms in the scope, water and power as already present in the home, and a place for materials if that was agreed. You will tell us about children, pets, allergies to dust or finishes, and any occupant who must keep using a kitchen or bathroom during the project. We will take ordinary care to protect floors and furnishings in the work path. We are not responsible for items you leave in the work area after we have asked them to be moved. If a condition looks unsafe, we may pause work until it is resolved.
Natural stone, wood, and handmade tile vary. Dye lots of paint, grout, and vinyl can shift between batches. We will try to order from the same lot. If a specified product is discontinued or delayed, we will propose a comparable substitute and wait for your decision when the change is visible. Fasteners, membranes, and other hidden materials may be substituted with equal or better performance without a new visual sample when the finished look does not change.
Adding a second bathroom, changing cabinet doors after fabrication has started, or moving a fixture after rough-in is a change order. We will describe the effect on cost and time in writing (including email). Work on the new item starts only after you accept. Verbal asides on site are not a change until confirmed.
Planning retainers are due as stated on the accepted package. Construction payments, if you later hire us to build, follow the schedule in the work order—typically a start deposit, progress payments tied to visible stages (for example waterproofing complete, cabinets set, or paint first coat), and a final amount after the walkthrough minus any agreed holdback for punch items. We do not publish a payment portal on this static site. Never send cash through unsolicited messages that claim to be eSmartTour.
You may cancel an unconfirmed appointment request at any time by email. If a consultation is already confirmed, please give at least one working day’s notice so another household can use the window. Planning work already performed is chargeable. If you pause a live renovation for more than fourteen days, stored materials, remobilization, and calendar displacement may be billed as described in the work order. We may pause or end a project if invoices remain unpaid after a written reminder, if access is repeatedly denied, or if you ask us to work in a way that is unsafe or unlawful.
We stand behind our workmanship on installed home improvement items for a period stated in the project documents, typically covering defective installation such as failed waterproofing we installed, drawers that will not align because of our setting, or paint failure caused by our prep—not by later leaks, misuse, or a product’s own wear. Manufacturer warranties on appliances, fixtures, and finishes remain with those makers. Hairline grout cracks from building movement, wood movement with humidity, and ordinary scuffs are part of living in a house and are not defects. Warranty visits require reasonable access and do not extend to work altered by others.
Unless you tell us in writing before handover that a project must stay private, we may photograph completed rooms for this website, social sharing, and printed boards, without showing household faces, documents, or street numbers. You may ask us to crop or omit a particular view. We will not invent a testimonial or attach your name to a quote you did not approve.
The eSmartTour name, roof-mark logo, page layouts, and original text belong to us or our licensors. Project drawings we prepare for you may be used to complete that home improvement. They are not a license to reproduce our details for another contractor’s competing proposal without payment of the planning work that produced them. Stock photography used on this site remains subject to its original licenses; we do not sell those images.
Social sharing buttons open other services. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for their screens or data practices. Links to material suppliers or inspiration images are for convenience only.
The site is provided as a static information service “as is.” We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free display on every device, or that every price or lead time mentioned in an article remains current. Home improvement is physical work; the website cannot inspect your joists or moisture levels.
To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, eSmartTour is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from website use, including lost time comparing contractors or decisions you make from general articles. For paid planning or construction, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected phase, except where the law does not allow that limit (for example proven personal injury caused by our negligence). You must notify us promptly of any claimed defect so we can inspect and, if responsible, repair.
You agree to hold eSmartTour harmless from claims that arise because you lacked authority to improve the home, you gave incomplete information about hidden conditions you knew about, or you reused our drawings in a way these terms forbid.
How we treat personal information is described in the Privacy Policy linked in the footer. Newsletter preferences can be changed on the Subscribe Email and Unsubscribe Email pages, also linked only in the footer.
We may update these Terms & Services when services, laws, or site features change. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the new text for website use. Active written project contracts change only if both sides agree in writing.
If any clause is unclear, write to hello@esmarttour.com with the subject “Terms & Services” before you rely on a planning package or request construction. We would rather explain a paragraph than discover a mismatch after cabinets are already on order.
