This Privacy Policy describes how eSmartTour treats personal information in connection with esmarttour.com and our home improvement conversations. We designed the public website as a static, client-side experience. That choice already reduces how much data a server must hold. Even so, when you type a name, email, or project note, you deserve a clear explanation of what happens next.
We collect only what we need to answer a home improvement question, schedule a consultation, send a newsletter you asked for, or improve how these pages work. We do not sell household lists. We do not publish your street, and this site does not display a company street or telephone number. You can unsubscribe from email using the footer link. You can ask us by email to correct or delete information we hold from a conversation you started.
eSmartTour is the controller of personal information described here. Questions go to hello@esmarttour.com with the subject “Privacy”. If we later appoint a processor (for example an email delivery tool for newsletters), that processor may handle your address only to send the messages you requested or to suppress it after you unsubscribe.
These forms ask for your name, email, optional phone, subject or service type, preferred date and time, and a message about rooms you want to improve. Phone is optional. You might also mention household routines, pets, or access notes. That content is used only to understand the project and reply. Because the published site is static, the browser validates the fields and shows a thank-you message. If you also send the same details by email, we will read that email in our ordinary inbox.
The footer form and the Subscribe Email page collect an email address so we can send seasonal care tips, material notes, and renovation sequencing ideas. We will not add you because you requested a quote. Subscription is separate and optional.
The Unsubscribe Email page collects the address you want removed and an optional reason. We use that only to stop further newsletter sends and to keep a suppression record so the same address is not re-imported by mistake.
If you write to hello@esmarttour.com, we receive whatever you include: photos of a kitchen, sketches, or questions about grout. Please avoid sending identity documents or payment card images. Photos of rooms may show family belongings; we treat them as confidential project material, not marketing, unless you later agree they may appear in a portfolio.
This static site does not require an account. Your browser will still request files (HTML, CSS, images, fonts, and icon libraries) from our host and from public content-delivery networks used for Bootstrap, Font Awesome, and Google Fonts. Those networks may see your IP address, browser type, and the page you requested as part of ordinary web delivery. We do not embed advertising trackers. If our hosting panel later offers basic traffic logs (pages viewed, dates, referring site), we would use them to see which service pages are useful, not to profile you as a person.
We do not set a first-party advertising cookie. Third-party font or script providers may set their own cookies according to their policies. You can block cookies in your browser; the site’s layout and forms will still work. Social sharing links are ordinary links; they do not load a share pixel until you choose to open them.
We rely on your request (taking steps to answer you), your consent (newsletter), our legitimate interest in running a careful home improvement practice, and legal obligations where they apply.
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited details with:
We do not share your message on social platforms. If we publish a testimonial, we will use a name and project type you approved, not your email.
Fonts and scripts may be served from infrastructure in more than one region. If that is not acceptable, you may still contact us by email without browsing every page.
We use ordinary professional care: limited access to inboxes, unique credentials for staff who need them, and a preference not to collect extra data. No internet transmission is perfectly secure. Do not send alarm codes, spare-key locations, or card numbers through the site. If we believe a breach of personal information we hold has occurred, we will notify affected people and any required authority as the law provides.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal information, or to object to certain uses. You may withdraw newsletter consent at any time on the Unsubscribe Email page or by writing to us. You may also ask for a copy of project notes that concern you. We may need to verify that the request comes from the same person who wrote to us. Some records must be kept for warranties or accounting even if marketing mail has stopped.
This site is aimed at adults planning home improvements. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child submitted a form, write to us and we will delete what we can identify.
Room photos you send are used to understand existing conditions—ceiling height, wet stains, cabinet lines. We will not post them publicly without agreement. After a project, portfolio use follows the Terms & Services: no street numbers, no faces unless separately approved, and a chance for you to ask us to omit a view.
We do not use automated systems to accept or reject a renovation. A person reviews appointment notes. Form validation in the browser only checks that fields look complete.
Sharing buttons and any supplier links lead to pages we do not control. Their privacy statements apply once you leave esmarttour.com.
If we add a real mailing system, a booking calendar, or another feature that collects more data, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be mentioned in a newsletter issue if you are subscribed, or in a notice on the site.
Email hello@esmarttour.com with “Privacy” in the subject. Describe the email address you used and what you want us to do (correction, deletion, or a copy). We will reply during posted conversation hours: Monday to Saturday, 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM, or on the next working day if the message arrives later.
